New East village store Den is small but savvy. From the owners of Odin (a men's boutique so cool it makes me want to switch teams), Den is a concept store that will feature just one designer at a time, rotating every six weeks. It's a similar idea to Opening Ceremony but Den distinguishes itself with its intimate feel and casual-cool focus. Right now, they're carrying Cheap Monday to show that the Swedish line famous for its skinny jeans actually offers a full, street-chic collection at affordable prices for men, women and even kids (I got a cropped cotton jacket for $40!). Next up are menswear designer Tim Hamilton, hip label Rag & Bone and cool Aussie Karen Walker.
