Red 8, Las Vegas
Overall: Makes me miss home!
Cost: $24
How sad that I find better Chinese food in Vegas than New York! The beef satay, while not entirely Malaysian in flavor, was still well-marinated and very tender. The fishballs in noodle soup were of perfect texture, while the broth was fragrantly flavored with fried onion bits. There's also a selection of dim sum and vegetables that I didn't try. Admittedly, prices were more than a little ridiculous - noodles and congee ranged btween $9 to $18 - which still makes it the cheapest Asian option within the Wynn hotel! Definitely for those with comps or expense tabs. Reservations recommended for lunch or dinner during busy weekends.
