Reading Green
So I hadn't planned to continue on this environmentalist tack, but I was travelling last weekend and pleasantly surprised to see the issue of green energy being covered in 'serious' magazines such as Business Week, US News & World Report, and Time. They present various realistic perspectives on alternative energy and its implications on everyday life, from food to oil trading. Some also raise awareness of being carbon-neutral, a big idea sweeping Europe now, as Prince Charles has learned. All signs indicate that green concerns are no longer just a treehugger issue, but a socio-economic necessity.
